Lucid Dreams

This series is a study of intimacy between women. The human body is not only the most significant aesthetic, but also the most powerfully expressive medium. It is quite possible to hide behind words, or to mask facial expression. But the body reveals. In my painting, women characters remain subjective to themselves, to their bodies, to their sensuality. They are naturally nude, relaxed, unashamedly bearing breasts and buttocks to the viewer as they continue to the dance of their existence.
